Brandbook.io

Platform for Online Brand Manuals.

In collaboration with:

Brandbook.io was initially created as a platform for independent designers to create straightforward brand manuals for their clients.

However, after collaborating with Studio Dumbar/DEPT® and Fabrique, we developed an extended version of the platform that could accommodate larger brand manuals.

Today, we work alongside various design studios and host a diverse array of national and international brands on the Brandbook.io platform.

Three Key Principles

Brandbook.io is designed with three key principles in mind.

First, the platform is easy to set up for design studios, while also being user-friendly for their clients.

Second, it allows for multiple users to access it by using an access code or personal login.

Last but not least, we pride ourselves on providing personalized service without the use of chat-bots or ticket systems. We believe in getting to know our clients so that we can better serve them.

The UX & UI Design

We should have looked at the latest trends for the user interface design. Instead, we look at a brand manual from 1976: the famous NASA brand manual, designed by Richard Danne and Bruce Blackburn. The manual is still relevant and, in that sense, timeless. This was our inspiration to make a timeless interface as well. No trends; it just works.
You can buy a reprint of the NASA manual at Standards Manual.

The Brandbook interface is a redesign of the original NASA manual, inspired by the printed version. Visit the NASA demo Brandbook here.
